I can confirm from empirical observation that the E-330 in B-mode and
the E-3 will both drop the mirror before lifting it again to make the
exposure, even with manual exposure and focus. The E-330 in A mode
doesn't show any unusual activity since it doesn't raise the mirror
for live view in that mode.
