A Kindle is nice, especially for traveling. It lightens the load
considerably, and keeps you out of those airport bookstores.
I son't know what the wifi does when it's just idling, but eating batteries
seems to be its big job. Like the iPhone, and iPod, which were designed by
idiots, the batteries are permanantly inside a case with no obvious way to
get to them. UGH!!!
