Overheating of RAM seems tob e a problem for some - I had it with some
poor RAM I got for an early Mac Pro lappie some time ago until I got
the RAM exchanged by the dealer. The RAM compartment is cramped,
compared to a desktop case. One solution I found to overheating was a
little Mac shareware Fan Controller program that allows you to change
the temp at which the fan kicks in. Can't remember exact name or
source but it's out there.
