Yes, the "mass budget" is a big problem. The Grob 115e weighs only 990kg, so I
am over a tenth of the weight of a full aircraft (with my cushion, parachute
and other stuff for flying). When I get out to send a student solo, the
aircraft becomes suddenly a performance machine, almost bounding off the runway.
