I would suggest that in order to take risks in hope of success, one must
have SOMETHING to risk. Not that most people want to hear that, as it
doesn't conform to their beliefs, but it is still the truth.
That said, if the lens was promised to be in good condition, I could spend
the $60 without going hungry today, I've been fairly well off financially so
far this year (thankfully), but I'd rather keep it and use it for something
else if there's a risk of losing the money. If I were wealthier, I wouldn't
care about the money.
