BTW, on a semi-related note regarding the OM-3Ti...
I've been stewing on why the OM-3Ti looks different than other OM bodies. It
is by far the stealthiest of the cameras even though the paint isn't black.
Why is that?
I think the reason is because the finish, even though it is lighter in color
than a black body, it is non-reflective. The black paint used on OM bodies
tends to have a reflective shine to it--especially so after some use. Chrome
bodies are naturally irritating. The champagne finish of the OM-4Ti is also
dull, but lighter in color. The OM-3Ti stands alone, I think, in the aspect
that it is a darker paint AND is non-reflective.
The white "OLYMPUS" lettering is a little obnoxious, though. Olympus'
version of the "red dot".
My OM-2S is most definitely brass under the black paint... Mine will attest
to that.
