Thank you!

Nope. Absolutely not. HOWEVER, let me explain what was going through my
mind that day. For a week I was staring that these awesome trees lining the
parking lot of my place of employment. All week long I drive and walk past
them with my E-1, with the A1 and even my cell-phone camera. Did I take a
single picture? Nope, nada.

I had the OM-3Ti with me this one day because I was photographing something
else. I stared at the trees and looked at the camera and thought that this
would be a great use of the Provia I had loaded in the camera. So, I took a
few minutes out of my lunch break to shoot a half-dozen pictures. Nearly
every one of the half-dozen shots is a "winner".

Why? Because of mindset. I didn't just walk past it like I did all week
with the other cameras. Actually, yes, I did take a couple shots with the
E-1, but those were "record shots".

My point in the previous email on this thread was that owning a certain
> camera cannot make you a better photographer. It might motivate you, but

You are absolutely correct here. My motivation was the scene, but it wasn't
enough motivation to get me off my rump. The secondary motivation was the
camera which was enough of a push to get things done.

My "programming" is different than yours. I'm an engineer-craftsman in
photography, not necessarily a photo-artist. Much of what I do is either
work-for-cash (yes, I'm a sell-out), or crafty-artistry type stuff. But for
me, the tool actually is important and it is an important port of the
equation in my ability to produce.

If it seems I've come down hard on you, its because you're a professional

"Semi-religious"? Surely you jest. Church leaders only dream about this
level of religious fervor! :)
