You have several times alluded to that computer as an example of how
Windoze and/or Vista is crap. Logically, if you recommend a change of
computer and OS based on one sample, you might recommend a change of
religion based on one priest.

I've used Vista for thousands of hours and like it. I've used the old
Mac OS for a few tens of hours and didn't like it and the new one for
maybe an hour and didn't like it.
I don't run around bashing Mac OSs on the basis of so little experience.
I expect it is fine, once one becomes accustomed to it.
