I'm reminded of one thing Olympus did with the IS-3 back in the '90s. This
camera had the IR sensor located in such a fashion, with a secondary window
that the wireless remote would work in front of, behind and above the
camera.
I've repeatably said to internal sources how important that is and the need
to bring it back with the E-thingies.
Alas, we still have worthless IR remote control.
