Not with an E3, but with a C2100. My only complaint was that it was set up
to be used only from in front of the camera. However, someone on the
OlyC2100 mail list said that his 8 year old came up with a piece of aluminum
foil and a pipe cleaner and rigged a reflector so the it could be fired from
behind. I had a cat that like to crawl around on the back of my chair and
on my shoulders, and I used it to get a few self portraits with the cat.
The only way I could get it done without her leaving. LOL I suppose you
could rig some kind of reflector attached to either the hot shoe or the
tripod mount.
