If it's an intel based mac then another option is to install parallels,
vmware or virtualbox and then run an old version of windows inside that,
I personaly use parallels for windows7 and xp environments and
virtualbox for solaris , because I find they work best for me, parallels
is better with windows and virtualbox for solaris - we use vmware on
PC's here but on my mac I think parallels is best, Virtualbox however is
free!
There is no need then to reboot into windows
