The data is getting a little long in the tooth and the brands are what's
available in the UK and not necessarily Oz. But it's an excellent read
even if you can't get your hands on the recommended brands. There are
some warnings there about what's likely a fire/explosion hazard due to
substandard construction.

AFAIK, UNiROSS isn't sold in the US. But my second battery for my 5D is
an Energizer CR-590 which I've owned for over 3 years and it seems to be
going as strong as the Canon BP-511A that came with the camera. They
get roughly equal usage. But there isn't a great savings. The
Energizer is about $35 and the Canon original at B&H is about $50.
