They do work, but the image stabilisation function is now largely
redundant since current firmware versions will allow you to use image
stabilisation with manual focus lenses anyway - you just have to say
what the focal length is (and will be prompted for it if you switch on
IS with a manual lens attached). At least, that's how it goes with an
E-3.
