Hi Moose,
I haven't looked at your work on my image yet.
I got sick of seeing it yesterday and didn't even get into editing it as
I would like to see it, I was simply trying to figure out my way around
PSE 8.0 & ACR.
But you and I agree, I am not crazy about the "I've eaten too many
carrots" look that the auto WB applied to the musician's face. I
understand time of day, sun reflecting off the red rocks, etc, but I
need to tone it down. Hadn't decided exactly how I was going to go about
that, as all of my time had been eroded by trying to figure how to use
PSE 8.0 to develop an ORF.
Then, when I "corrected" the wb in ACR, I also didn't like the coolness
it gave the rocks. Yesterday I stopped trying to get the image where I
wanted it to be and just kept working towards figuring out ACR and the
save options, etc.
Just when I thought I had finally figured out how to have a "workflow",
all the images came up with those red and blue etched lines. I can't
figure out why that is happening when an ORF is saved as a jpeg from ACR
in PSE 8.0.
Anyhow, I will look at what you've done to my image, I expect to learn a
thing or two from you, I always do. But I will have another go at doing
an acceptable edit before I view yours as I don't want to be influenced
by your preferences initially. If that makes sense. I'll post it for
critique. Today is another insanely busy kid day, so I may be here off
and on, probably mostly off. Nothing surprising there, since most of my
friends would say I'm usually a bit "off". :-)
