Lucky if so. I have a lot of respect for owls. I had a friend in the
DNR that had to destroy an owl out in the country that had put its
talons through a little boy's eye socket. I hear them outside our
window almost every night and they eat heartily on the varmints down
here. Couple days you see a rabbit and the next day you don't. They
seem wise and even cute, but an eagle is a pansy in comparison.
