Whilst not the 250/2 I don't see the 180/2 characteristics being much different and these are shots taken with one such lens - some with 1.4 attached. older listees may remember these shots <http://thattimeoflife.smugmug.com/My-MAIN-gallery/Nearly-Topes/5032251_wgnEj#302211830_TDd6J> <http://thattimeoflife.smugmug.com/My-MAIN-gallery/my-favourites/803266_25jCM#26943659_Xy9SW> <http://thattimeoflife.smugmug.com/My-MAIN-gallery/misc/613944_WsNbX#38491004_DAsTp> <http://thattimeoflife.smugmug.com/My-MAIN-gallery/Out-Walking/633090_F5YA9#26943814_7nLcN> I should maybe revisit these and tweak them a bit now I know better what to do (I have been paying attention to moose - honest!) I once did a very crude a quick comparision between it and the 300/4.5 and the much vaunted 80-200/2.8 Tamron - the main thing I noticed was that CA was almost none existent on the 180/2 but when challenged by a list member (chuck I think) to provise more evidence, something else came up and I never got around to testing further. I am a man torn, I love my 180/2 (although this doesn't get carried often now) and 7/14 but I am dissapointed with my E3 so I will change bodies next year and at this time I am sure it will be a 5DII but then I will miss the 7/14. -- _________________________________________________________________ Options: http://lists.thomasclausen.net/mailman/listinfo/olympus Archives: http://lists.thomasclausen.net/mailman/private/olympus/ Themed Olympus Photo Exhibition: http://www.tope.nl/ |
