Hi All,
Are there any owners of the Zuiko 250/2.0 hanging around here? (If you
are, you're very quiet,
I've never seen any of you). I am especially interested in seeing some
black and white
images produces with this lens.
I know it's the best zuiko ever made, blah blah blah contrast blah blah
resolution blah blah very heavy! blah blah, but I find it very
difficult to
locate many sample images online that show the "character" of this lens.
And character is what it's all about, right? I certainly know that my
reasons for using
e.g. the 90/2.0 has 100% to do with the general drawing character of
the lens, even if it
optically sucked I might still have used it for that smoothness, that
"objects are internally
illuminated" look.
I really want to see how others have exploited the character of the
250/2.0. The best image
I have seen thus far is this one, but it's a tiny image in an OM-3/4
brochure:
As ever, I find it comical how poor the images in the "OM System Lens
Handbook"
are (in my humble opinion) - half of them appear to be nothing more than
careless snapshots. The 250/2.0 shot even has camera shake, and/or
poor focus.
If you can help, thanks for indulging me! (and I am sure other fans
would
also like to see)
