I recently got a new iPhone 3GS, and have been mucking around with the
Best Camera application of Chase Jarvis's.
http://www.thebestcamera.com/
Note that he's published a book of iPhone photos:
http://www.thebestcamera.com/book.html
as well as the application, as well as the "sharing" website, so I
guess you could say that the man had a (business) plan.
At the moment, my examples are completely overwrought, much like those
of a person who discovers the special effects available in PS for the
first time:

but I must admit that I am enjoying the whole "The best camera is the
one that's with you" approach, and working within or exaggerating the
limitations of the crappy camera. Like a newby to PS and its ilk (i.e.
like I once was, but stil occasionally can be), I'm sure I'll shake
off the temptation to overwork-the-hell-out-of-the-photo. But it's fun
at the moment, and fun is good.
Cheers,
Marc
