Too many nice ones to choose, IMO. Thanks.
Never heard of Musical Beach either, but would like to find it.
There is a "Singing Beach" in Manchester-By-The -Sea, MA. Perhaps got
its name for similiar reasons.
They changed the name to this hypenated version a few years ago. There
is a Manchester, NH fairly close.
They got a bit of flak for being uppity. (didn't phase the Cabots or
Lodges living there) The olde saying was Manchester-By-the-Sea,
Gloucester-By-the -Smell.
Gloucester actually is quite diverse and has very scenic/interesting
areas but the commercial fishing is unfortunately declining.

Musical Beach? I'm not familiar with that one, though I could
understand Hunter Beach being called that. At mid-tide in modest to
heavy surf, the small rocks roll back and forth with the breakers.
Some say it sounds like applause. I think it sounds like rocks that
roll. <g>
