Glad to see you back, Chuck.
No need to apologize. As the Silvernosed mentioned, the i900/9000 I compare it
to is from another class.
I have not printed pictures with the Epson yet, just a few docs, such as,
graphs and liked the quality.
On the flip side, when I did it, the whole neighborhood heard it (something
with Epson printers being so loud...). Speed of printing was good, but it took
its time before actually started.
I wouldnt diss it, but if anyone cares about my opinion, I can say this:
"Figure out which Canon printer you need"

The one thing that strikes me with the Epson Stylus Photo 1400 is the
build quality, it is first class. There is a lot of attention to small
detail and the quality of components seems to be of a high standard.
Many of the printers I have tested recently have kept the costs down by
compromising on essential parts, and as a result I have seem floppy
output trays and flimsy rear paper guide etc. I will cover the printer
in use later in this review, but for this section I will take a quick
overview on the features and parts.
