Thanks, that chipmunk lives in a rock wall in a garden. I wasn't quick
enough for the full body shot, so I waited until it popped its head out
again.
That California Ground Squirrel looks much like a larger, fatter
chipmunk, but without the pretty markings. Golden Mantle ground
squirrels have pretty colored markings.
