Agreed! I received a couple of decent inks last Christmas: Caran
d'Ache "Storm" and Yard-o-Led "Claret". I am still only halfway
through Storm. I miss the Parker Penman inks, of which I have only a
bit of "Mocha" left. Apparently it tended to block pens and Parker
withdrew it several years ago.
I don't have a view of the breakers here, but I know a lovely place on
the northwest coast of Scotland that would fit that bill nicely ...
