Tuesday morning is the big event. The worn out bones and nonexistent
cartilage of both knees will be replaced by some plastic and steel and
glue. I think that sometime after lunch I will awake and wonder why I
ever decided to do this despite Andrew's severe warnings. The next
month I'll follow up with having both cataracts removed. I have vowed
to be able to keep up with my wife walking down the Florida beaches this
winter and also to be able to see where I'm going. I might even be able
to focus an OM again. :-)
The hospital supposedly has wifi but I assume it will be a while before
I'm up to using it. They say 3-4 days in the hospital proper and 3-10
days in the rehab facility. I'll see ya when I see ya.
