Then, let's hope that a "serious" photographer (tripod etc) is not
considered a threat :-(
I am very careful about taking pictures of strangers (esp. police officers!)
but IMHO there should be no restrictions for taking pictures of anything on
the street. OTOH, a "real" terrorist may take pictures surreptitously with a
cell phone...
I took, however, a picture of a group of the 'Guardia Civil' (indeed a
faction of Spanish Army) at the start of La Vuelta's stage in Almería -- but
with so many people taking pics and getting autographs, I went mostly
unnoticed. As soon as I get some time I'll post some pics (sorry, OT: Bessa
R3A + Minolta M-Rokkor 90/4)
