Well, I must confess I've always felt a sort of agreement with Karl
Popper views.
I became aware of that when reading his dialogues with Sir John Eccles.
Quite like in the sense Diotime told Socrates, Popper speaks of a
'provisional truth' - and Diotime of the usefulness of a 'truthful
opinion' (hope to be translating accurately ... ).
I found that thought, in a Popper & Eccles book titled 'The Mind and
its Brain' (IIRC - 'El Yo y su Cerebro' in Spanish) - tried to google
something like it but found this one only:

If you hadn't already done so, find out who Sir John Eccles was, the
questions he was facing at his time - and his conversation w / Eccles
fits naturally into place.
... too late and tired to refine my search, sorry Andrew.
Fernando.
------------------------ well, you should find out - IIRC, Eccles
lived in Australia ;-)
