That sucks. I'm really paranoid about my gear because I live in a big city
where people will steal anything that's not nailed down, especially now,
where unemployment for men here in northeast Indiana is approaching 25% and
those with jobs are making starvation wages. I NEVER, ever leave any gear in
my car. I carry it in with me if I have any gear with me when I go out to
eat or to go shopping or whatever. I usually carry a Domke messenger bag
with a 35mm body and a couple lenses and that setup is worth more than my
old beatup piece of shit car.
