Sorry to hear the T-45 you got was not as expected. Yet by removing most
of the corrosion you got it working and I would still consider it to be
a good deal. As for the battery pack, I was not expecting it to be
great. I believe Ken recently offered to the list to rebuild battery
packs and maybe John also does.
You'll probably be using the T-45 with your OM's, so it's good you
bought it and not me. I would most likely have resold it, trying to make
a little profit to fund more digital Olympus stuff.
