About the 80mm lens: It did not come with the medical kit. It came with
the other lot. The 80mm close up lens came with the medical kit. Inside
the kit were instructions for the 80mm lens, but no lens. This explains why
the 80mm lens is the older manual version, while the matching close up lens
is for the newer version (I assume).

Not necessarily... Here is what happened: The medical kit showed up for
sale in ebay with a starting bid of nearly $1000. I had a feeling it will
get no bids so I asked the seller if he was willing to sell it for less, if
the auction did not get a bid. He replied that he already had an offer for
$700, so I offered $750 and he agreed to sell it (after the auction ended
with no bids). With shipping I paid $770.
Lot B was a combination of two auctions from a different seller that I won
and paid around $220. So, I got everything in this web page for under

I don't know how you guys feel about these prices, but, IMO, these are great
bargains. A couple of months ago I sold the Nikon PB4 Bellows and the 105mm
f4 macro lens for $700 (in separate auctions of course, DrT's ebay rule no.
1, always sell items in separate auctions).
Just one lens and the bellows (granted, more sophisticated than the Olympus
bellows) for $700. And, here, for under $1000 I got the bellows, slide
copier, 3 macro lenses, 3 macro flash units, a state of the art camera (OM4)
and numerous other accessories.
*** OLYMPUS FOR EVER!!! ***
And, Nathan, don't worry, I will use that stuff and make you proud :)
For the time being, I only had time to take pictures of the stuff :)

PS. By the way, as a long time ebay seller, I suspect that if the first
seller had started the auction at $0.01 and no reserve, he might have gotten
more than $750. High bids or reserves make people lose interest. Low
starting bids and no reserves get them excited and involved. DrT's ebay
rule #2: If you have good stuff in your hands, trust the market and start
at $0.01 and no reserve! Most likely you will get rewarded. If you guys
