regarding the sharpness I think it depends upon what software you are
using, if you use studio them you will find them just as sharp - well I
did , the problem for me was the way my third party app (aperture)
processed the raw files, it did a perfect job with E-1 files and
although most of the time I find it acceptable for E-3 files it doesn't
do quite as good a job.
Haven't noticed and problems with IS but come to mention it sometimes I
do get blurry pictures from time to time ;-)
