I don't think a "pulse" is needed to fire the winder. I constructed a a cable release for my winder (now in Dawid's able hands) using a simple Radio Shack switch which only closed momentarily. No batteries were used to provide a pulse. Just closing the wiring loop fires the winder. Clay >>> Ken Norton <ken@xxxxxxxxxxx> 8/24/2009 10:10 AM >>> I've tried using the Eb*y wireless flash triggers as a remote control for the OM winders and motordrives. In theory it should work, but the pulse is of too short duration. The md/winder only activates part way and a second trigger is necessary to complete the operation. I think somebody managed to extend the pulse duration enough to make this work by putting a small capacitor across the leads. I'd be very interested in getting this to work with my OM system as I frequently have use for remote triggering of cameras.
