To answer your questions: I do very little post-processing. That's why
Moose sometimes grabs one of my images and performs his witchcraft on
it ;-) In the specific case of the Main, these are the steps shown in
Lightroom:
-Import
-Auto Tone (I clicked on the AUTO button in the Develop module)
- Fill Light +8
- Crop (I cropped some of the sand at the bottom)
- Clarity +50 (it is my standard practice to apply this, rather than
unsharp masking)
That's it.
Alt1 is made with the 75mm Summitar. It is one of Leica's new, low-
cost line of Summitar M lenses (it also includes a 35mm, 50mm and 90mm
lenses, all with maximum aperture of 2.5). Keep in mind that "low
cost" is a relative concept. In any event, I find it to be the
sharpest lens and one with the most pleasing bokeh of my entire M
collection.
