With all the talk about a surfeit of red meat causing colon cancer, I limit
myself to a max of about 100 gm a day.
Actually too much red meat disagrees with my digestion, so small servings
suit me fine. Mutton / lamb is now also very expensive here in NZ as well;
we have to pay export prices, so I vote with my feet. Pork prices can be
good though, probably due in part to imports of Canadian pork which gives a
lot of competition.
A son of my g/f does a very nice BBQ farmed quinnat/chinook (same thing)
salmon dish.
Not so sure about Jazz. I've just taken delivery of 5 CDs of Scarlatti piano
sonatas from Presto Classical, and they sound great to me right now!!.
I'd have to be on Skype of something to participate in the Grinnell Zuiko-fest
Brian Swale.
