My use of the screen is chimping the histogram. I almost don't use the
meter except for an initial rough reading.
Your analysis of good/bad vision and screen use was right on. Without
glasses I see well enough through the viewfinder to compose the image
and autofocus does the rest. But I couldn't do the same on a screen
without reading glasses even though I can tell where the histogram is.
I did read the G1 review but maybe I should take another look. And
maybe I should compare it to the size and weight of the A1 rather than
an E-420 which I don't own and have never even seen.
