Exactly. It's not that we don't have options. The G1/GH1 take care of the
"hey, I'm a pretend DSLR" look. The Olympus approach is apparently (at this
time) going to be something totally different. This is a camera that is
intended to be that "second camera" for every pro or serious photographer.
and the next camera for somebody wanting to step up a little bit from the
pocket cameras with extremely noisy (or blotchy from NR) images.

I'll refrain from pithy comments, because my digitals are really not any
better. The monitor screens are horrid. But the latest Olympus monitors are
awesome. Even the E-3 is quite usable in sunlight and it's not near as good
as the E-30 and E-620.
