Most recent trip to the Oregon Coast (week b4 my shoulder surgery) had my E510
and an E1 I acquired a while back. E1 pretty much lived with the 70-300 on it,
I really loved it for feel and performance. Thought I'd miss the IS with that
longer lens, not so much.
It is a very ruggedly built camera, but still handles very nimbly.
