Yes, my E-1 just passed 40,000 this last week. It might not be much
compared to some people's shooting rates, but it's still not too slouchy
considering that I shoot with multiple cameras. If I figure the lens cost me
$500, the E-1 cost me $525. So that's about $0.013 per picture. I can live
with that for a digital camera purchase.
The grip is getting about as baggy as a teenager's unbelted blue-jeans, but
it isn't showing any signs of slowing down.
