It made about two dozen of them assume room temperature. Bill Barber
That's a wonderfull way do describe the result!
I have had excellent results catching almost any small animal in a barn,
cellar or on the filed with traps that are open on two sides that close
automechanically when a small plate in the middle is stepped on,
bringing it out of it's balance. A thin metal wire that keeps both doors
open is released and the doors close. Only problem is you have to decide
what to do with the caught animal. Not all options are fun to watch or
to perform. But the animals don't die in an uncontrolled place leaving a
smell behind. Also if the neighbour's cat or dog would eat some poisoned
rate it could also kill the cat or dog.
