Unless I've missed something, it looks like whoever was driving it dropped his
hitch and went to lunch or home. All he's got on the back of the skidder is a
couple of small firewood logs. While It's possible to roll one I don't think
I have ever heard of it around here. The cage serves more than just
protection from a roll over. It more often serves to protect you from falling
limbs. I'd love to cut and skid firewood on that lot. It's much dryer than
anything around here. A guy I stopped to see this winter was driving through
a swamp up to his belly pan. I didn't have my camera with me or I would of
taken some pictures up.
