To be fair, she probably gave them the idea that it was an old Canon
FD manual rther than an EOS - I'm sure they would rather have sold
her a Canon SLR kit than a P&S!
"What kind of Canon is it? How old."
"Oh I can't remember - er, it's really old. Had it forever...."
That sort of thing.
