Impressive. We have a diurnal owl, the Powerful Owl, which is capable
of taking a cat - it's usual diet is possums - but it's so rare now
that it's unlikely to happen. An ex-student of mine is doing her
doctorate on them.
It's reasonable when the native wildlife occasionally strikes back at
invasive exotics and ferals.
