If 3500k isn't correcting the WB, that would suggest that the lighting instruments themselves are set to 50% brightness. Almost all stage lighting will WB to 3500K when at 100% brightness. Where we run into problems is with follow-spots which tend to be bluer than normal instruments and sometimes will almost match daylight balance. As to pushing two-stops exposure of ISO 3200? One would think that a 50/1.4 is in your future.
