We have this thinking that a camera has to be a swiss army knife and must
contain every feature known to mankind. I suppose some of these new
wonderbrick digital cameras pretty much apply. But what one needs,
sometimes, is an excellent screwdriver. Although you can use a swiss army
knife, it isn't something that will be overly comfortable or even usable.

The OM-3Ti is kinda like that. It is NOT a swiss army knife. It is a finely
developed screwdriver. If you need to cut something or remove the cork from
a wine bottle, the OM-3Ti won't do it. But in my kitchen drawer of tools, I
do have a nice knife and bottle opener.

I have found that I've gotten so used to auto-exposure that having a camera
without it is sometimes a bit stressful. There is the fear of "I can't do
this" that slips in.
