This is almost a non-sequitur, but here goes ...
After I discovered CP/M and small computers on the Tornado Squadron in
Germany, I was posted to teach US pilots in Florida on the F16 (dirty
job etc ... :-))
Well, last night I watched Top Gun for the umpteenth time (our students
watch it allll the time, as well as the Battle of Britain
film) and remembered this photo of me at Miramar:

I had not seen it for around 5 years so was quite pleased to find it
again. You can just see "Fightertown USA" on the hangar in the
background.
