I'm reknown for being weird/eccentric/different so it doesnt bother
me.
Olympus lost there way, having a E500 then a E510 showed me that.
I've looked at the E420 as well but must confess I've not looked at an
E-3.
They just dont have the magic of that was in the OM series anymore.
Technically they are still producting some innovative ideas and patents
but the ideas are simply not being translated to a selling product in an
innovative way.
I've now gone back to using OM exclusively, the OM's feel nice,
look nice, work nice, and the F stop on the len's are more what I'd
like with a nice view finder, and not having to stuff around with way
to many controlling options, even if I have already preset various
options on an E, I seem to forever be checking and changing things
that require me to take the camera away from my face and check.
The focusing rings definitely suck bigtime on the digital lens !
