I'm starting to feel more comfortable now Wayne.

At least, I was not misunderstanding anything from scratch ......... :-)
Your points on Lab promise to be very useful for me, and feel better
after your understanding of wrong procedure or lack of complete info in
that thread. It sort of scared me - because I didn't find any color
shift either !! _ ;-) - but failed to understand why.

Took me about two weeks to think about this point, and the other related
points I mentioned - in an effort to find something in common to the
three techniques.
I apologize for the length of the topic, but once I identified a
question it brought to my mind another one which seemed related.
This quickly resulted in a mess which took me about an hour to put down
in English words ...

So, there's no urgency to have Margulis' book ... could you point to
some other direction, Wayne ?

Thanks a lot.

Fernando.
