With the OM system, the Photorunner was my bag of choice.
I always had the waist strap tucked out of the way, rarely using it.
Trekkers are heavy. I have one, but have never taken it on a hike,
more to transport gear from one place to another.
I have the sling bag 200 and use it the most, but I find the single strap
eventually tires my shoulder, plus the 5D with either 180 macro or
70-200 lens is just awkward in use. I'm guessing the bigger 300
sling bag is just too much.
If I only have the 5D with 24-105 lens, I have a Patagonia sling bag
that I have added padding to. This bag saved my camera once, when
I was kayaking in a bay. I was getting out, my feet stuck in the mud,
and next thing I knew, I flipped over the boat. I lost a pair of glasses,
but the camera was in the bag, floating in the water and the camera
was completely dry.
I'm still looking for the right bag.
