I'll second Johnny's suggestion. The level of detail in these papers
should exist for all makes. For a limited subset of gear (flash only)
this one far exceeds the eSIF in its technical coverage. Very well
done. While the paper is very specific to Canon flash units (both film
and digital) it's very long and contains much useful information
regarding flash usage in general. It also has some very useful links at
the very end of part 3.
