The anodizing itself shouldn't be to cost prohibitive, no more so than say
getting something crome dipped. The problem I see, and I could be mistaken,
is that the anodizing, being a chemical reaction, will cover the entire
piece, you can't do any masking like you can with paint. So, all the writing
on the top plate would come out the same color as the rest of the plate, and
any writing that's just painted on, like the "Olympus" and "OM-4Ti" on the
front would be totally gone.
Of course, you could always have the writing machine engraved into the
anodizing. I've seen this done and it looks very nice.
