[OM] FREE file size reducer?

I've been trying to find a free program that will reduce file size in bulk.
 
I mistakenly shot 600 pictures of my daughters championship soccer's games
in SHQ and want to reduce file size to 1MB.
 
Any free programs out there? I down loaded 3 and then found out afterwards
they'll only do 5 unless I buy them, where they had been advertised as free.
