Fernando, looking at some of the images you posted, you are pushing your
photo equipment to the limit, trying to rescue them with post processing is
not very effective with slides. Actually it helps little with out of focus
and vibration blur images.
Zuiko 200/4 is not a very sharp lens, adding a 2X further reduce its
quality. Velvia is good, I used it for landscapes but I prefer RDP III much
more. Velvia is slow, IMO not really a good idea for birds unless you have
very good equipment (e.g. 350/2.8) or under bright sunlight.
Slide is good but hard to manage (slow, exposure latitude, color temp.), I
have gave it up since 2004. Here are some old E-1 birds shots with DZ50-200,
much easier for me.

For birds shots their eyes and feather must be well expressed.
